DMCA Notice

SwishDNS respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe a domain using our DNS services is directing users to infringing material, please submit a formal DMCA notice as described below.

1. Required Information for a DMCA Notice

Your DMCA notification must include:

• Your full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
• A clear description of the copyrighted material claimed to be infringed
• The domain name and, if applicable, the DNS record resolving to infringing content
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

2. Submit a DMCA Notice

3. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, SwishDNS may:

• Investigate the reported domain
• Disable DNS resolution for the offending record or domain
• Notify the domain owner of the claim
• Request additional information from either party if necessary

Repeat offenders or domains consistently linked to infringing behavior may be suspended or terminated.

4. SwishDNS Role & Limitations

SwishDNS is a DNS hosting provider and does not store, host, or manage website content. If the infringing content is located on a separate hosting provider, the complainant may also need to contact that provider directly.
